Thing #2 Web 2.0
It is amazing how technology has changed over the years and keeps getting much better. The main thing that puzzles me is being out of the classroom setting would be difficult for me to go back to because I am not up to date with technology as much as I would like to be. Sometimes I hear about the different types such as : promethean boards, elmo and I don't have a clue what they are talking about. Actually, I did learn because I wanted to know, but not sure if I could teach with these tools. I guess I would have a lot of learning to do. It seems as though so many kids could teach the teachers or their parents when it involves any type of technology. I do love the wikis and blogs and could be used for any subject for the students and parents to help with communication from school. I am already learning so much and can't imagine how it would have been if I had these tools when I was a young student. Technology is Amazing!
